Cork, Cork, Ireland IPS-Integrated Project Services Full time
Job Description

IPS is a pioneer in the application of single-source, integrated EPCMV for technically complex facilities. We have developed, implemented, and refined a lean integrated project delivery model that addresses the entire project life cycle. We are looking for a talented Project Planner / Scheduler to join our team in Cork, Ireland.

In this role, you will develop, monitor, and update project plans and schedules encompassing the entire engineering, procurement, construction, and qualification (EPCMV) life cycle. You will facilitate or participate in project scheduling meetings as well as pull, phase, takt, and interactive planning sessions as required to develop, refine, and progress project plans.

What You Will Do
  • Analyze schedule input from project partners including clients, internal teams, vendors, and contractors to verify schedule durations and integrity, as well as evaluate logic and float paths.
  • Integrate data into an overall master schedule.
  • Ensure the credibility of the information in the master schedule and make recommendations to manage float and resequence activities to achieve project milestone/target dates.
  • Collaborate with estimating and cost control to resource and cost load schedules as required, as well as with the team to support constructability and value engineering.
  • Evaluate schedule risk and perform analysis (Monte Carlo Simulation, etc.) as required. You will baseline schedules and document the basis for approval.
  • Monitor schedule progress, deviations, and variances, and assess impacts on critical/near-critical path activities. You will assist in developing alternatives for corrective action.
  • Perform job site walks to verify physical progress of scheduled activities and analyze change orders for schedule impacts. You will continually review schedules with the project team to ensure accurate and timely data incorporation and forecasting. You will prepare schedule progress reports, trending charts, and schedule analysis, and maintain a record of scope changes, trends, and variances that potentially affect schedule performance.
  • At project completion, develop and record the project's historical schedule information and lessons learned for future use.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • BS degree in engineering, construction management, or related field, or applicable experience.
  • 10+ years of experience as a planner/scheduler on facilities capital projects.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction, and qualification (EPCMV) processes.
  • Experience in the Pharma/Biotech industry.
  • Understanding of engineering, construction methodologies, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to generate earned value, SPI, CPI, and other schedule performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in modern planning and scheduling tools and methodologies including CPM, Last Planner, 4D, etc.
  • Strong analytical and computer skills, with proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Office Suite.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage large amounts of information to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications

  • PMI or AACEI certification.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, with creativity and innovation, continually working to improve solutions, tools, methods, and service delivery systems.
