We're working with a privately owned, fast-growing business in the South-East to find an experienced Project Manager. The role will focus on the construction of a new Gypsum Board Manufacturing Plant as well as other major capital projects across the Group.

This is a chance to step into a role with real impact – managing end-to-end delivery of large-scale projects while working closely with engineers, architects, planners and subcontractors to ensure quality, safety and timelines are met.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading and coordinating all phases of Group capital projects from planning through to handover
  • Developing and managing project plans, schedules and budgets
  • Overseeing site operations, subcontractors and project workflows
  • Managing design work in partnership with engineering and design teams
  • Handling planning permission processes and liaising with relevant bodies
  • Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety standards
  • Anticipating and resolving site issues, delays or emergencies

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field
  • 5+ years' experience in the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of building regulations, certification standards and planning requirements
  • Experience in equipment procurement and contractor management
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget and to the highest standards
  • Self-motivated, organised and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
