An experienced Electronics Engineer is required by CareerWise Recruitment to work with our Galway-based Electronics Manufacturing client.

THE ROLE:
  1. Work with customers on NPI projects to improve manufacturability and complete NPI projects to schedule.
  2. Incorporate Continuous Improvement activities based on business objectives and current cost reduction goals.
  3. Prepare assembly documentation and work instructions.
  4. Train Operatives in assembly procedures.
  5. Support the Maintenance Team in designing planned maintenance routines necessary for all of the Assembly Line equipment, and, as required, perform critical Engineering Maintenance tasks.
  6. Provide technical support to production.
  7. Implement process controls such as FMEA and Control plan as part of the Change Management process.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Honours Degree (or Masters) with specialization in Electronics.
  • At least 5 years' experience in an Electronic Engineering manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrable Electronic Troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Ability to read and understand electronic circuit designs and schematics.
  • Excellent multitasking and project management skills.
