Overview

Health Care Assistant Clare role at Comfort Homecare. Driving is essential. Part-time and full-time positions are available in the Clare and Limerick areas to assist clients to remain safely and happily in their own homes.

Salary, Hours and Schedule

Most competitive rates, starting at €15 per hour. Higher rate on Sundays. Travel allowance of 41c per km. Part-time hours: 18-40 per week. Scheduling includes day shifts, evening shifts, weekend availability and flexible hours.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high standards of emotional, social and personal care to clients
  • Adhere to Comfort Care Ltd policies
  • Accurate record-keeping
  • Continuous training and upskilling applicable to the role
  • Implement the client\'s care plan
  • Provide practical and emotional support to clients in a professional manner
Requirements
  • QQI level 5 – Care Skills and Care of the Elderly
  • Be reliable and dependable
  • Full clean drivers license and use of own vehicle
  • Be flexible and have a can-do attitude
  • Have a caring and kind disposition with a person-centred approach
  • Good communication and practical skills
  • Some experience and training is desirable
  • Weekend and evening work required
