The OPTIMA team is seeking a Program Manager, Training.
OPTIMA is a global team that enables Amazon to deliver a superior shopping experience to customers worldwide. We aim to provide an end-to-end data solution for the LLM lifecycle, leveraging technology and operational excellence. We support shopping feature teams by providing reliable insights and ground truth data to measure and train ML (Machine Learning) models, as well as handle annotation and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) across 10 languages.
The Training Program Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing training programs for the OPTIMA business. The role requires strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and influence with stakeholders and senior leaders. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, experience using data and tools to impact business outcomes, and comfort working in ambiguous environments.
Key job responsibilities- Schedule large-scale training initiatives, track completion, and report on progress.
- Manage new program launches and new hire onboarding, with a focus on performance enhancement.
- Supervise trainers, providing coaching and feedback to develop their skills and leadership capabilities.
- Collaborate with local and global stakeholders to support training programs and initiatives.
- Improve existing training programs, review, and oversee the development of training content for new processes, programs, and SOP rollouts.
Minimum qualifications:
- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
- Experience with MS Access and SQL
- Experience in requirement gathering and writing clear, detailed requirement documents
