KCC Group are a market leader in the provision of supply, installation, and service of the following products: Timber Doors, Steel Security Doors, Door Hardware, Automatics & Access Control, Facades, Partitions, Glazing, Fire Door Inspections and more. We are currently recruiting for a Carpenter to join our Fire Door Inspection team. This is a permanent, full-time position, essentially based in Dublin operating out of our Ballymount office, with occasional commutes and possible overnight stay which is highlighted, well in advance.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Install fire doors according to the specifications and guidelines provided by manufacturers and relevant building codes.
  • Following on from training provided, ensure a comprehensive fire door inspection is conducted to assess compliance with fire safety regulations and standards.
  • Ensure projects are completed in a timely, cost effective and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a friendly and professional relationship with the client/contractor.
  • Carry out KCC portfolio works as scheduled by your line manager.
  • Document findings on company tablet as per training provided.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a 2nd fix carpenter.
  • Ensuring work complies with building regulations and health and safety legislation as well as other legal requirements.
  • Fluency in English language.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Time management and organisational skills.
  • Drive for continuous improvement.
  • Approachable and helpful both internally and externally.
  • Problem solving.
