Job Description

The process engineering manager will translate our clients' needs into effective solutions that meet their requirements. The process engineering manager will play a critical role in translating customers' process requirements into deliverable, cost-effective, and profitable solutions. Playing a lead role with internal and external design teams and project managers, they will influence and optimise the design concepts into solutions that can be built safely and on time.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and document our clients' process needs and draft high-level design concepts to share with customers.
  • Work with design teams to establish reliable and efficient designs that meet our client's needs.
  • Collaborate with project managers and tendering departments to cost proposed solutions.
  • Support business development teams in preparing quotations and tender documents.
  • Assist staff on design, procurement, and project delivery.
  • Provide assistance with SAT and FAT of solutions.
  • Develop documentation supporting assembly, commissioning, and operation of modular solutions, including technical files for CE Mark self-certification.
  • Define standard product offerings in collaboration with the General Manager to meet water and wastewater treatment market needs.
  • Support the design team and project manager to ensure successful delivery of robust technical solutions.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of L8 degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline.
  • Managerial experience of process or design teams is advantageous.
  • Commercial awareness to ensure product proposals are cost-effective and profitable.
  • Extensive technical knowledge of process design, construction, and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment plants (modular experience advantageous).
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the water/wastewater industry.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to customer locations, primarily in Ireland and UK.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Project.

Package:

€75,000 - 95,000 per annum, dependent on relevant experience.
