Job Description
The process engineering manager will translate our clients' needs into effective solutions that meet their requirements.
The process engineering manager will play a critical role in translating customers' process requirements into deliverable, cost-effective, and profitable solutions.
Playing a lead role with internal and external design teams and project managers, they will influence and optimise the design concepts into solutions that can be built safely and on time.
Responsibilities:
Understand and document our clients' process needs and draft high-level design concepts to share with customers.
Work with design teams to establish reliable and efficient designs that meet our client's needs.
Collaborate with project managers and tendering departments to cost proposed solutions.
Support business development teams in preparing quotations and tender documents.
Assist staff on design, procurement, and project delivery.
Provide assistance with SAT and FAT of solutions.
Develop documentation supporting assembly, commissioning, and operation of modular solutions, including technical files for CE Mark self-certification.
Define standard product offerings in collaboration with the General Manager to meet water and wastewater treatment market needs.
Support the design team and project manager to ensure successful delivery of robust technical solutions.
Requirements:
A minimum of L8 degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline.
Managerial experience of process or design teams is advantageous.
Commercial awareness to ensure product proposals are cost-effective and profitable.
Extensive technical knowledge of process design, construction, and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment plants (modular experience advantageous).
A minimum of 10 years of experience in the water/wastewater industry.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to travel to customer locations, primarily in Ireland and UK.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Project.
Package:
€75, ,000 per annum, dependent on relevant experience.
