Qualified Accountant – South Mall, Cork City

Location: South Mall, Cork City

Job Type: Full-time | Permanent

Job Summary

We seek a motivated and experienced Qualified Accountant to join our team at Xeinadin Ireland South LTD. Based in Cork, this role involves managing client portfolios and supporting junior staff. The ideal candidate has strong practice experience, excellent communication skills, and a proactive client service approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client portfolios, ensuring timely and accurate service.
  • Serve as the main contact for client queries and relationship management.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory deadlines and regulations.
  • Review work by junior staff for quality and accuracy.
  • Mentor and support junior team members.
  • Identify process improvements within the team.
  • Assist in preparing proposals and presentations for new business.
  • Report challenges and ideas for improvement to senior management.

Key Requirements

  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in practice
  • Strong understanding of compliance, financial reporting, and client service
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Leadership and collaboration skills
