Responsibilities
  • As an Instrument Engineering Graduate at PM Group, your day-to-day role would involve, but would not be limited to the following activities:
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team on projects in the following sectors - BioPharma, Med Tech, Advanced Manufacturing, Food and Energy
  • Coordination with other PM Group global offices to understand the scope of work, deliverables, timelines, resource hours, etc.
  • Instrumentation design through Smart Plant Instrumentation
  • Work with Senior Engineers and assist in producing instrumentation deliverables in accordance with project requirements, codes, specifications and procedures
  • Working with Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI)
  • Production of Instrumentation specifications and Data Sheets
  • Material requisitions for Instrument procurement
  • Production of Instrument Indices / I/O Lists
  • Production of Instrument cable schedules
  • Vendor documentation review and approvals
  • Support during construction
  • Assist with commissioning activities
  • Attendance at Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs)
  • Coordination of design with other disciplines
  • Participate in PM Group's Next Graduate Program
Qualifications
  • A degree in Applied Physics & Instrumentation Engineering at level 8
  • Ability to work in a vibrant multi-discipline design environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Flexibility to work both in design office and on construction teams
