Overview
The Data Steward is responsible for enforcing and disseminating policies and standards to ensure quality, accuracy, and security of the data within data hubs and across the integration landscape. They work closely with the data producers and consumers to ensure data is maintained and utilized in accordance with the Data Governance policies, standards, and processes. The data steward does not own the data but represents the interest of the cross-functional data owners and works to ensure sustainable data quality (root cause analysis, data monitoring and remediation, ongoing and new business and data quality controls, data maintenance to name a few).
The Data Steward role will initially serve as a Data Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Moonshine program. This individual will be assigned to the program to collaborate closely with its functional and technical leads, overseeing data-related activities such as migrations and conversions. Data Stewards will be aligned with one of the functional areas—PTM (Plan to Make), PTP (Procure to Pay), or OTC (Order to Cash).
Position will be filled as Data Steward at 1 of 3 levels, dependent upon candidate qualifications. Open to candidates in AMER and EMEA.
