About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join a leading contractor on a data centre construction project in Galway. This is an excellent short-term opportunity for a professional with proven experience in high-spec, fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee site health & safety compliance in line with Irish legislation and company procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Provide toolbox talks, training, and daily safety briefings to the site team.
  • Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and incident investigations.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture across the site.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Health & Safety Advisor, preferably in data centres or large-scale M&E/construction projects.
  • Relevant Health & Safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with site teams and subcontractors.
