Description of the role:

The Chief Respiratory Physiologist is a vital member of the Respiratory Medicine Team, overseeing the effective operation of a high-quality diagnostic service in the Respiratory and Sleep Laboratory. The successful candidate will play a key role in our expanding Respiratory and Sleep Laboratory.

  • Responsible for the daily administration of the Pulmonary Laboratory.
  • Manage technical staff and oversee their clinical workload in the Pulmonary Laboratory.
Requirements:
  • Possess an equivalent relevant scientific qualification (Level 8) confirmed by The Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Physiology (IICMP).
  • Minimum of 5 years of full-time (or equivalent) relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Demonstrate clinical, leadership, managerial, and administrative capabilities to perform the role effectively.
  • Extensive experience in Physiology relevant to the role.
  • Flexible working hours are required.
Salary and Benefits:
  • €60,000 - €83,000 (depending on experience)
