Plumbing Foreman

King and Moffatt Building Services is seeking a Plumbing Supervisor to lead on-site plumbing teams, supervise first and second fix works, and ensure project delivery to high standards. This is a full-time role based in Dublin/Meath, Ireland, with responsibilities spanning supervision, planning, safety, and collaboration with clients and stakeholders.

• Supervise and coordinate plumbing teams on-site.
• Complete first fix plumbing works and obtain all necessary test certifications.
• Create a second fix task list and provide an estimated completion date.
• Monitor and address any site issues that may impact project completion.
• Communicate project updates and variations to the Contracts Manager.
• Liaise with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders as needed.
• Monitor project progress and ensure high-quality standards are maintained.
• Adhere to all Environmental, Health, Safety & Quality (EHSQ) policies and procedures.
• Advise management on potential hazards related to equipment operation.
• Supervise and train apprentices in installation, maintenance, and repair tasks.
• Interpret blueprints or prepare sketches to determine equipment placement and ensure compliance with building and safety codes.
• Use a range of tools and equipment, including power tools, measuring devices, and testing instruments.
• Perform administrative duties such as maintaining records, preparing reports, and ordering materials.
• Mark up circuits and drawings to reflect actual installations.
• Work at height using ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install or repair systems.
• Carry out physically demanding tasks, including trench digging and lifting heavy objects.
• Schedule work activities and lead small teams to complete tasks within set timeframes.
• Anticipate material needs and coordinate procurement in line with project timelines.
• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, heating, and sanitation.

• Fully qualified plumber (National Craft Certificate or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years' experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
• RGI certification (preferred).
• Strong understanding of domestic and commercial plumbing systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Full clean driving licence.
