Barden are partnering with a forward thinking, innovative consultancy business based in Fermoy, Cork. Specializing in industrial electrical engineering and automation, we offer project management, design, development, and commissioning services. The business is in the early stages of their growth journey and this is a great opportunity for someone to get in and grow with the business, with a healthy balance of autonomy and mentorship from the Managing Director. The role is get great exposure to a wide variety of projects nationwide whilst having a base in the Fermoy offices.
This is your chance to work independently, gain diverse experience, and make a real impact in the field of industrial engineering.
What You'll Do:
- Design & Develop: Prepare detailed electrical schematics.
- Lead & Supervise: Oversee construction and manage contractors.
- Collaborate & Communicate: Participate in project and client meetings.
- Plan & Procure: Develop cable, IO, and termination schedules, and procure necessary equipment and materials.
- Execute & Ensure Quality: Interpret electrical plans, complete IO testing and commissioning, and ensure project quality, safety, and cost-efficiency.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: Engineering Degree or equivalent discipline (Level 8).
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Experience: Hands-on electrical experience is a plus.
- Attributes: Strong analytical and communication skills.
