We are now seeking a Costl Manager to join our Ireland team and play a pivotal role in growing our teams and managing and leading complex infrastructure projects including but not limited to transport, utilities and water

As Cost Manager, you will be the primary client interface for major infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for leading the project lifecycle from feasibility through to delivery and handover. Working with multidisciplinary teams, external consultants, contractors, and public stakeholders, you will ensure our projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standard.

You'll be based in our Dublin office, with travel to client sites as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day to day delivery on small to medium projects, and support larger projects / programmes of work as part of a team.
• Demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Develop our business; networking and developing good client relationships.
• Support knowledge capture, sharing and innovation. Support the implementation of strategic initiatives at service and sector level.
• Prepare budget estimates, cost plans and client reports.
• Support evaluation of tenders, contractor selection and producing contract documentation.
• Support risk and value management.
• All aspects of contract administration including preparation of valuations, forecasts, cost reports and attendance at project meetings.
• Preparation of bills of quantities, schedules of rates, or other methods of work evaluation.
• Deliver all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner to a high standard of quality.
• Support the delivery of work through proactive involvement where appropriate and through performance management of personnel to ensure work is completed in a timely manner to a high standard of quality.
• Undertake service delivery in accordance with company policies and procedures, particularly Health and Safety and Quality Assurance.
• Provide services in compliance with the client's corporate governance procedures where applicable.
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuing professional development and continuous improvement.
• Achieve all objectives as required by the annual performance review process.
• Work to deadlines set by the Project Team Leader.
• Filing of project correspondence in accordance with requirements.

Qualifications / Skills

• Degree qualified: construction, cost management, engineering, quantity surveying or other RICS accredited degree.
• MRICS or working towards MRICS / other equivalent qualification or experience.
• Good core technical skills.
• Experience in Infrastructure projects (Energy / Utilities / Large Civil, Mechanical, Electrical engineering projects).
• Developing interpersonal skills with both clients and colleagues.
• Good analytical skills, sound judgement and an aptitude for forward planning.
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Experience of industry standard forms of contract, typically NEC, JCT, FIDIC.
• Basic pre and post contract technical cost management skills.
• Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters with circa 3 years plus post qualification experience.
• Good IT skills including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and contract management software.
