Oliver James has partnered with an Asset Management organisation seeking to hire an experienced Senior Fund Accounting Analyst to join their growing Dublin office.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Complete the month-end close process, produce journal entries, and perform reconciliations for various legal entities related to expenses.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account variance analyses.
  • Reconcile and analyze various traded products, including equities, fixed income, commodities, and derivatives.
  • Support the fund administrator monthly and auditors annually.
  • Interact with groups within and outside of Finance, such as Middle Office, Operations, and Investor Relations.
  • Assist in management reporting and projects to improve processes and procedures.

Qualifications/Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • 3+ years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in public or private accounting with hedge funds, private equity, or fund administration.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills (oral and written).
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and client service skills; a good team player.
  • Proven analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
