About the Role
We seek a Resident Engineer – Civil for sites across Mayo, Sligo, and Galway, Ireland, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. This role offers the opportunity to work on Water and Wastewater infrastructure projects, playing a vital role within our site supervision team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and liaise with the Resident Engineers' Team.
- Report to the Employer's Representative.
- Handle contractual matters on-site.
- Coordinate contract interfaces and liaise with stakeholders.
- Assess Contractor claims, payments, performance, and submissions.
- Supervise works, maintain records, and manage contractual documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least 7 years of post-graduate experience, including 5 years in supervision and project management of civil works.
- Experience with water/wastewater treatment plants, pipelines, and related structures.
- Proficiency in report writing, computer use, and Microsoft Office.
- Full Clean Driving License.
- Knowledge of construction contracts, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
