Access Talent Group are collaborating with an award-winning global consultancy who are seeking a Resident Engineer for a significant road/cycling/active travel initiative in the eastern part of Galway City commencing in Summer 2024.

This role will entail on-site supervision, administration, monitoring, and inspection of construction activities, working closely with a full-time Senior Resident Engineer and Clerk of Works/Inspector.

Requirements:

- A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Experience in supervising and inspecting the construction of roadworks including pavement, drainage, ducting, signage, lighting, etc.
- Eagerness to pursue Chartered Engineer status.
- Ability to work as part of a team and also independently and under own initiative to achieve project goals.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
