Ryanair is currently recruiting for a Junior Project Manager to join the Construction Department of Europe's Largest Airline Group.

This is an excellent opportunity as we aim to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300 million guests per year within the next 10 years.

This role is exciting as the successful candidate will be involved in the development of Aircraft Hangars, Flight Simulator Facilities, New Base setups, and various construction projects supporting our current fleet of 618 aircraft, which will increase in the coming years.

The successful candidate will manage projects from feasibility analysis through to completion, engaging with contractors and design teams.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Preparing feasibility documents for projects, including initial layouts in AutoCAD, involving site visits and developing schemes to meet our needs. Larger projects will be developed further by Design Professionals.
  • Monitoring construction projects and visiting sites regularly to assess progress, requiring European travel, and generating reports.
  • Assessing and recommending main contractor tenders.
  • Assisting in producing construction contract conditions and specifications to ensure project delivery.
  • Liaising with airport authorities and planning departments to ensure compliance.
  • Managing utilities connections and contracts to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinating with contractors and sub-contractors, monitoring performance regarding time, cost, quality, and safety.
Requirements:
  • Degree or recognized diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction, Architecture, Building Surveying, or related discipline.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in AutoCAD.
  • At least 3 years of experience in construction projects.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
  • Self-starter capable of operating effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Confident and upbeat personality.
