Summary:

This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining process standards, cost models, and performing capacity analyses in support of business decisions. Drives improvements in efficiencies, cost and capacity utilization.

Essential Functions:

  • Analyzes work force utilization, facility layout, and operational data to make recommendations on efficient utilization of workers and equipment.
  • Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for business decisions.
  • Develops capacity models which guide decisions in the justification of additional capital equipment.
  • Identifies improvements in methods, procedures, equipment and workflow.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
  • 4+ years engineering experience
  • Experience with tools for continuous improvement and/or operational efficiency.
