Overview

Health Care Assistant – Limerick

Comfort Homecare is recruiting additional Health Care Assistants to support our Limerick and Clare teams. This position offers part-time and full-time opportunities to help clients remain safely and happily in their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high standards of emotional, social and personal care to clients.
  • Adhere to Comfort Care Ltd policies.
  • Accurate record-keeping and upskilling as applicable.
  • Implement the client's care plan and provide practical and emotional support in a professional manner.
Qualifications
  • QQI Level 5 in Care Skills and Care of the Elderly (required or desirable depending on role)
  • Full clean driver's license and use of own vehicle
  • Flexible, reliable and able to adopt a person-centred approach
  • Good communication and practical skills
  • Some experience and training is desirable
  • Weekend and evening work required
Experience
  • HCA with 1 year of experience (required)
Licence/Certification
  • Certificate in Care Skills or Healthcare Support (desirable)
  • Full Clean Driver's License (required)
