Job Overview

As a Kitchen Porter within our team at Parkmore, Galway, you will assist in delivering catering services to employees in a medical device factory. This role is rewarding for the right candidate, focusing on meal production and providing positive customer service. Our goal is to enhance each customer's experience through our interactions.

Shift Details
  • 35 Hours - Monday to Friday (daytime role) €13.50/hour
  • 20 hours - Monday to Friday 7am to 11am €13.50/hour
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain supplies of dishes, cutlery, kitchen utensils, cooking pots, and trays
  • Ensure high standards of Food Safety and Hygiene as directed by the Head Chef
  • Complete Food Safety/Quality records daily
  • Maintain cleanliness of premises, kitchens, and personal hygiene
  • Support service delivery, food prep, hygiene, and other kitchen tasks

Candidate Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar fast-paced catering role
  • Hospitality or catering background preferred
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Knowledge of Food Hygiene and HACCP preferred
  • Problem-solving skills with a flexible, can-do attitude
