Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to lead the development of custom solutions within our organisation, particularly for construction and engineering projects. This role involves designing user-centric applications, integrating them with existing systems, and providing technical guidance to the team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio. A background in project control for construction/engineering projects is highly beneficial. We are seeking a variety of skill levels for Power Platform Developer located in Limerick or surrounding areas and willing to commute.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Power Platform Solutions: Oversee the development and deployment of custom solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform

  • System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of Power Platform solutions with existing systems and data sources

  • Application Design: Design and develop user-centric applications and automation workflows to meet project requirements

  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders

  • Custom Solution Development: Develop bespoke apps and automation workflows tailored to project needs, especially in construction and engineering contexts

  • Project Management: Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project execution

  • Collaboration with Remote Teams: Work effectively with remote teams to ensure smooth collaboration and project completion

  • Maintain Best Practices: Implement and uphold best practices in Power Platform development, including security and scalability considerations

  • Documentation and Training: Maintain comprehensive documentation of solutions and provide training to end-users and team members

  • Power Platform Expertise: Extensive experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and AI Studio

  • Project Control Experience: Background in project control for construction/engineering projects is highly desirable

  • Integration Skills: Strong ability to integrate Power Platform solutions with existing systems and APIs

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in developing with SharePoint and managing Power Platform environments

  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to address complex technical challenges

  • Remote Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with remote teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration

  • Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills to oversee development projects from inception to completion

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
