About The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day accounts collection process for the Agri Business and Vita Actives.
• Management of credit accounts including creating and amending accounts and credit limits in line with Credit Insurance requirements.
• Logging all contacts with customers and record follow up actions, person responsible and outcomes.
• Managing the customer data base.
• Liaising with the Area Sales Managers and Branch Manages to ensure accounts are paid according to agreed terms.
• Managing the preparation of month-end debtors analysis and reporting.
• Attending court as and when required to give evidence in debt collection cases.
• Co-ordinating bank queries with respect to audits.
• Co-ordinating year end audit preparation and liaising with external auditors.
• While the Credit Control role is based at the Societys Headquarters, Clonmel Road, Mitchelstown, Co. Cork, a certain level of travel will be required, particularly in dealing with Customers and also attending Court.
• Engaging fully with and supporting continuous improvement across the function through automation, report ownership, data cleansing and digital mindset development.
• Monitor and maintain customers delegated to your region from the debtors book.
• DABL review accounts on manual allocation. Allocate where necessary.
• Supporting administration duties for credit control and AR functions.
