Compliance Finance Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic finance team in a leading food manufacturing company. As a Compliance Finance Manager, you will play a key role in managing the finance function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, cash flow management and forecasting, and statutory compliance.

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Create budgets, forecasts, and financial models aligned with business goals.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with department leaders to provide financial insights and support decisions that enhance business performance.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards, including tax obligations and internal controls.
  • Financial Reporting: Produce accurate and timely financial statements.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A qualified chartered accounting qualification with a recognised accounting body (e.g., ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Five years' experience working in a fast-paced finance department.
  • A strong background in financial accounting.
  • Proven experience coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors to complete annual financial statements.
  • Strong financial modelling skills, including pivot table use and data manipulation.
  • Experience liaising with brokers on general and credit insurance policy management and claims.
  • Experience in managing teams or a strong interest in developing management skills.
  • Prior experience in a food manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential.
