Financial Operations Specialist Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess strong financial management skills and be able to effectively manage accounts payable, process payments, and reconcile bank statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate bank reconciliations and cash sales reconciliation.
  • Manage Accounts Payable and process payments in a timely manner.
  • Conduct supplier reconciliations and communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments as needed.
  • Support the processing of invoices and credit notes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist in preparing month-end and year-end financial reports and statements.
  • Post journals and perform control account reconciliations as required.
  • Provide support for VAT Returns, CIS, and Intrastat reports.
  • Collaborate with the logistics department and sales team to meet business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in a similar role, preferably in retail or finance.
  • Prior knowledge of accounting software and systems is advantageous.
