As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate financial information to support business decisions. This includes ensuring the production of monthly management reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and supporting analysis.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting into Finance Director, duties include: Ensuring the timely and accurate production of monthly management reports.
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns in accordance with HMRC deadlines, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Preparing and posting standard and ad hoc journals including accruals, prepayments, payroll, and other necessary adjustments.
  • Compiling and submitting Intra Stat declarations, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Performing monthly reconciliations for all bank accounts, ensuring any discrepancies are promptly identified and resolved.
  • Supporting the Finance Director and wider team with ad-hoc duties as required, including financial analysis, audit preparation, and process improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Newly Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or 1-3 years post qualified - QBE with relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of reporting standards
  • Strong technical knowledge
