QC Lab Technician - Ireland - 11 Months Contract

Do you want to be involved with exciting pharmaceutical projects?

Our pharmaceutical client, a global leader in veterinary vaccine development and production, has the largest centre in the industry and is a Centre of Excellence, employing over 1000 people. They are looking to add a QC Lab Technician to their team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Sample management within the QC Bioanalytical Laboratory, including receipt through disposal.
  • Aliquoting of in-process, release, and stability samples.
  • Daily calibration of laboratory instruments such as balances and pH meters.
  • Maintenance and cleaning of equipment including HPLCs, plate washers, PCRs, and BSCs.
  • General laboratory housekeeping, waste management, reagent stock checks, and glassware maintenance.
Desirable Experience
  • Relevant experience in manufacturing, preferably in a GMP environment.
  • Skills in bioassay and DNA testing are advantageous.
