Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious Senior Network Engineer who will take responsibility for the overall operational health (Security, Availability, Performance, Interoperability and Reliability) of our data communications systems.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Provide Nexthink staff with the best possible infrastructure and tools to meet their business needs.
  • Design and deploy company LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including servers, routers, firewalls, load balancers, hubs, switches, and other hardware.
  • Provide formal corporate communications on directional changes or changes that will impact existing services.
  • Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning.
  • Analyze business requirements to develop technical network solutions and their framework.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer.
  • Very good skills in network architecture and operations (Cisco CCNP certification or equivalent is a plus).
  • Good skills in the management of all the aspects of the data center stack (storage to compute and network).
  • Hands-on experience with equipment from Juniper, Cisco and/or Palo Alto.
  • Extensive knowledge of Network diagnostics, protocols, and disciplines, OSPF, BGP.
  • Scripting skills, particularly around automation and configuration management.
  • Zero-Trust mindset approach is a plus.
  • Experience with Cloud architecture (IaaS, PaaS) is a plus.
  • University degree is a plus.
  • High motivation/curiosity to learn new concepts and discover new technologies.
  • Very good problem-solving skills and open-minded towards suggestions.
  • Very good communication skills and teamwork.
  • Top-notch written and verbal communication skills in English.
