Quality Assurance Manager

Location: Waterford (On-site, Monday to Friday)

Industry: Multinational FMCG Manufacturing

Contract: 8-9 Months

On behalf of my client, a leading multinational food manufacturing company, I am recruiting for a QA Manager on an 8 month contract. This site-based role will report to the Operations Manager and lead all aspects of quality and food safety within the facility. The successful candidate will manage a small team of quality and technical professionals in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of food safety and quality management systems.
  • Lead BRC and customer audits, ensuring compliance and readiness at all times.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a technical and quality team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, company, and customer requirements for food safety and quality.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary contact for external bodies and customers on technical and quality matters.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a technical or quality leadership role within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong expertise in leading BRC audits and managing customer audit processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety and quality standards, legislation, and compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
