Overview

We are partnered with a leading international specialist in waterproofing and critical infrastructure solutions, working at the intersection of construction innovation and sustainability. Their teams partner with major contractors, developers, and design consultancies across sectors including data centres, commercial, residential, healthcare, and industrial projects. They are looking for an experienced Technical Design Manager to lead and mentor a team of technologists, combining leadership with technical expertise to drive innovation and quality across multiple projects. This role is office-based in Ireland (Dublin).

You will need to be eligible to work in Ireland without sponsorship needs.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and manage a team of Architectural Technologists, ensuring effective project delivery and technical excellence.
  • Oversee the design, specification, and technical support on major projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Review and approve drawings, BIM/Revit models, and technical specifications to maintain accuracy and quality.
  • Provide expert technical support to clients and internal teams, including input on sustainable construction practices.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders, actively participating in design meetings and technical reviews.
  • Mentor and upskill the team, driving professional growth and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to new product development, sustainability initiatives, and technical content for industry platforms.
  • Monitor market trends and industry advancements to support innovation and competitiveness.
Requirements
  • 10+ years' experience in construction, waterproofing, or a related architectural technology discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, waterproofing systems, and sustainability principles.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, solution-focused mindset with the ability to resolve technical challenges.
  • Solid experience with BIM/Revit and NBS platforms.
  • Based in Ireland (full-time, office-based).
