Overview

Finance Analyst role at Phoenix Group — FTC (12 months). Part of the European Planning and Performance team within Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). This role supports performance reporting and financial forecasting to inform business decisions and maintain financial oversight.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain GAAP and MI financial models and forecasts to support analysis and decision-making
  • Coordinate the Annual Operating Plan and ongoing forecasts by gathering inputs, updating financial models and preparing summary materials
  • Prepare monthly performance reports and analysis of results against plan
  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of performance reports, including profitability analysis and trend identification
  • Collaborate with teams across the business (for example Distribution, Proposition, Financial Control and Commercial) to collect data and respond to queries
  • Drive process improvements as part of Project Enhance
Essential
  • Education - Undergraduate Degree (or equivalent)
  • Languages – English
Desirable
  • Studying towards a professional qualification (for example accountant or actuary)
