What We Are Looking For...

We are looking for a Customer Director to join our Commercial team. This position will report directly to the Sales Director and be based in Ballymount. This role will lead a team of professionals with the ultimate aim of identifying and developing the growth opportunities and delivering results in line with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving sales performance against sales targets, highlighting risks and gaps and closing same within budget.
  • Responsible for the management of Wholesale Convenience Customers.
  • Line management of the CBMs.
  • Responsible for account management of Confectionery Category.
  • Works with CBM's and Marketing to identify sales target opportunity.
  • Coordinates sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.
  • Development of Customer JBPs and facilitates the cascading of Key actions to CBM's.
  • Develops a Go to Market Plan to insure key stakeholders such as category, customer service and sales are aligned on big bets.
  • Works with finance, operations etc. to ensure corporate sales compliance.
  • Review the accuracy of various sales & promotional analysis Reports and other intelligence essential to the sales.
  • Recommends revisions to existing reports or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.
  • Identifies and escalates promotional compliance issues and potential Financial Risks.
  • Assists sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • A strong influencer with risk assessment skills and experience in monitoring and control in a broad range of customer situations.
  • Excellent communicator able to produce data driven, as well as intuitive based recommendations for business improvement.
  • A proven leader, with experience in managing multiple relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of channel economics in a multi-channel environment.
  • Grasps the essence of new information; recognizes own strengths and weaknesses; pursues self-development; seeks feedback.
  • Exhibits integrity though fair and ethical behaviour toward others and a demonstrated sense of corporate responsibility and commitment.
  • Can be relied upon to ensure that projects within areas of specific responsibility are completed in an appropriate and timely manner and acknowledges mistakes, learns from those events and is able to move forward productively.
  • Identifies and analyses problems; distinguishes between relevant and irrelevant information.
  • Ability to delegate and time manage, making the right trade-offs along the way.
