EHS Specialist

Would you like the opportunity to work alongside a global healthcare product manufacturer, a leader in over-the-counter medicines? Our client, responsible for developing innovative products and maintaining a global presence, is recruiting an EHS Specialist for their new project.
Responsibilities Include:- Participate in safety reviews of processes and systems, providing advice on all EHS aspects during project handover from construction through commissioning and qualification to operations.
- Perform risk assessments.
- Issue work permits.
- Review applications.
- Assist in maintaining and continuously improving environment, health, and safety policies, strategies, and management systems within the organization.
- Training and experience demonstrating a strong understanding of programs such as Electrical Safety, Lockout Tagout, Machine Guarding, Confined Space, Working at Heights, Hot Work, Mobile Equipment/Vehicles, Lifting Operations, High-Risk Contractor & Construction Work, Chemical Management, Industrial Hygiene, Waste Management, Water Management, and Emergency Response.
- Experience within a pharmaceutical or biological manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lead a project from start to finish with a cross-functional team.
- Proficiency in creating presentations and conducting training independently.
- Effective communication skills for diverse audiences.
