Responsibilities
  • As an Accounting Principles & Advisory Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in Vodafone's Accounting Competence Center, operating within our End-to-End Accounting & Reporting framework.
  • You'll be a strategic authority on complex accounting judgements and compliance assurance, guiding the application of IFRS and local GAAP policies across our global markets.
  • You'll lead the development and governance of accounting principles, ensuring consistent, accurate, and audit-ready financial reporting. Working closely with Group Financial Reporting and local market teams, you'll align policy and practice, support major transformation initiatives, and provide expert advisory on commercial transactions.
  • You'll also help digitise and evolve our accounting principles function, making knowledge and decisions more accessible across the organisation.
  • Your influence will extend across strategic projects, process transformation, and stakeholder engagement—from Chief Accountants and auditors to commercial units and shared operations.
  • You'll mentor professionals, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure Vodafone's accounting practices are robust, future-ready, and globally aligned.

Qualifications
  • Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics
  • 8+ years of experience in finance operations, with a strong track record in delivering major transformation projects
  • Deep technical expertise in IFRS, local GAAP, and financial reporting standards
  • Strong leadership and project navigation skills in dynamic, complex environments
  • Excellent communication and business partnering abilities
  • High resilience, empathy, and a collaborative spirit that embraces diversity
  • IT and data analytics literacy, with a passion for digital innovation
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus
