Title: Manufacturing & Assembly Manager
Location: Carlow
Company: Jones Engineering Manufacturing Ltd – a leading engineering services company with over 130 years of experience in mechanical and electrical engineering, sprinkler and fire protection, and related services.
Responsibilities- Ensure weekly and daily work plans are completed and targets are met or exceeded to drive productivity.
- Coordinate with facility personnel to secure access, information, and materials for productive weeks.
- Manage day-to-day site operations, supervising the facility labour force and any specialist subcontractors.
- Determine manufacturing project schedule needs; support completion of project schedules, provide 12-week look-ahead, and report on site progress, flagging issues to Manufacturing Project Managers.
- Conduct regular safety walks of the Manufacturing Facility and close out actions / endorse best practices.

- Lead Mechanical & Electrical fabrication, assembly and commissioning activities with timely completion and follow-up on roadblocks.
- Utilise Project Management Systems and demonstrate excellent delegation and organisational skills.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Maintain excellent IT skills (MS Office/Excel).
- Trade background with supervision experience; experience as a Construction Manager is essential.
- Strong offsite and construction background.
- Experience in project management and coordinating manufacturing schedules.
