Overview

Our Client, a large Manufacturing Multinational, requires an Assembly Operator for its site in North Dublin. This is a 23 month contract with possibilities of permanency. This is a top working environment with flexibility, and where staff are treated well. Candidates must have experience with (product) manual assembly to be considered and should be open to shift work. Shifts are 07:00-15:30 Mon to Friday and 15:00-23:30 (week on week off).

Total Package Value: up to €46,000 + Overtime

The Role
  • Assemble and test product per company procedures and drawings.
  • Product is electromechanical in nature
  • Use of Hand tools (torque screwdrivers, drills)
  • Maintaining a sanitary and safe work area and equipment in accordance with Company procedures.
  • Complete all necessary documentation and ensure that all records are accurately maintained, and accessible.
  • Assisting Engineering in the initial validation, installation and verification of new assembly procedures, equipment and products.
  • Assisting Engineering in the design of test fixtures and modules assembly procedures.
  • Achieve weekly targets through effective teamwork.
  • Ensure that work areas and equipment are maintained in accordance with company requirements and that all safety rules and procedures are observed.
  • Working with Quality procedures, relating to material flow, material handling, processing of defective material, acceptance and rejection procedures, ECN monitoring, concessions etc.
  • EHS compliance: PPE and close call process awareness.
  • Training in new personnel.
  • Supporting production ramps to deliver customer product on time to the required quality level.
  • Stock control and other ad hoc duties.
Experience for this role
  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
  • 2 years experience in a similar manufacturing environment.

  • Experience as a manufacturing operative in an electro mechanical environment a plus.
  • Training in electromechanical assembly would be an advantage.
  • Experience in Electromechanical, Mechatronics, chemical, systems integration would be an advantage.
  • Experience in Lean principles, 5S, Kaizen and waste elimination would be desirable.
