Chanelle Pharma is excited to share a highly experienced and strategic opportunity for a Supply Chain Planning Lead - ERP Implementation to join our ambitious and developing ERP Implementation project. The successful candidate will drive the design, implementation, and optimisation of supply chain planning processes as part of our SAP Cloud ERP transformation. This is a critical role that ensures accurate demand forecasting, production planning, and inventory management across our pharmaceutical operations.

Location: Onsite in our Loughrea Facility (5 Days Per Week)

As our Supply Chain Planning Lead - ERP Implementation, your key responsibilities will be as follows:

Supply Chain Planning Strategy & Execution:
  • Leading the development and execution of supply chain planning strategies aligned with business objective and regulatory requirements.
  • Defining and implementing best practices for demand planning, capacity planning, and inventory optimisation using SAP Cloud ERP.
  • SAP ERP Implementation:
  • Leading the supply chain planning workstream with the SAP S/4HANA Cloud ERP programme, aligned to an "Adopt not Adapt" methodology.
  • Collaborating with SAP consultants, production, procurement, and IT teams to configure planning parameters, MRP settings, and integration points.
  • Data Quality & Compliance:
  • Overseeing planning master data setup, including materials, BOMs, routings, and production versions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Acting as the primary liaison between supply chain, manufacturing, finance, and IT for all planning-related matters.
  • Facilitating workshops and training sessions to promote planning process ownership and continuous improvement.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Monitoring and reporting on planning KPIs including forecast accuracy, service levels, and inventory turns.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency and responsiveness.

Education & Experience:
  • Over five years of Supply Chain experience in a senior role, ideally in a regulated pharmaceutical/medical device environment.
  • SAP certification or supply chain planning credentials (desirable).
  • Experience with AI/ML tools for demand forecasting and inventory optimisation (desirable).
  • Hands-on experience in regulated pharmaceutical or CDMO environments using SAP ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated success in ERP implementation projects and data governance initiatives.
  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience with GxP compliance and audit readiness.
  • Previous senior leadership role as a supply chain head would be preferable.

Skills & Competencies:
  • Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA or SAP Cloud ERP, particularly in regulated pharmaceutical or CDMO environments.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
    • Capacity and demand planning
    • Safety stock control and 'what-if' scenario analysis
    • Production planning and detailed scheduling (PP/DS)
  • Familiarity with SAP Best Practices and Fit-to-Standard methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, EU GMP Annex 11, and ALCOA++ principles.
  • Experience supporting Computer System Validation (CSV) and audit readiness.
  • Ability to define and enforce planning data standards, validation rules, and stewardship models.
  • Experience and understanding of the importance of master data governance.
  • Proven track record leading supply chain planning workstreams in large-scale ERP implementations.
  • Skilled in planning data cleansing, mapping, and transformation strategies.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
