Data & AI is a major enabler of AXA Partners' business. As a Data Engineer, part of the CLP (Credit & Lifestyle Protection) Data team, you will support CLP Business with respect to Reports and Data extracts answering AXA CLP Data reporting requirement using core insurance IT platform – primarily Oracle data extracts, and leverage modern Azure capabilities (Datalake, Databricks, Power BI).

Your main mission is then to implement and develop production analytical systems on key AXA Partners data project until business actionable consumption), maintain and enhance the operationality of the key analytical components at the right-level to ensure that the AXA Data Strategy's ambitions can be met.

You will be part of the overall Data Partners community, and a key actor of the Data Engineering Network.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL scripts and stored procedures to meet business requirements.

·Collaborate with the team to design and develop reporting solutions using PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Report Builder.

·Optimize existing SQL, PL/SQL queries and procedures for maximum performance.

·Participate in database design and planning activities.

·Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PL/SQL, Oracle Database and Report Builder.

·Design and Implement Dataflows and DataMart's on a Azure platform

·Ability to Configure Databricks Clusters & maintain Databricks Notebooks in SQL & Python

·Ensure data integrity and security in all database applications.

·Support all BAU activities – running reports, reconciling data, identifying anomalies

·Ability to work on own initiative and take responsibility for delivery of high-quality solutions

·Guarantee CLP IT Data Analytics assets sustainability and bring expertise on related reporting topics

·Liaise with the community of people involved in BI and Data Analytics

·Identify and drive improvements to the current processes and new development work

·Responsible for creating and maintaining documentation - Document changes to systems and produce documentation for new solutions

·Ability to work on own initiative – and work on issues till resolution

Your Profile

Technical/ Functional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

·Critical to this role is Oracle Database, PL/SQL& SQL & Oracle Reporting suite experience

·Experience in complex PL/SQL, SQL writing and troubleshooting

·First knowledge about Big Data Environments, Azure Cloud Datalake, Databricks, Spark

·Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD implementation and use

·Proven experience in a reporting role and use of self-service or classical BI Technologies (SSIS, SSAS, AAS, DAX, VS, PBI etc.)

·A proven track record of developing Big Data solutions

·Entrepreneurial, team and can-do spirit, able to work unsupervised and with problem-solving skills, constantly striving for effective solutions

·Excellent communication skills, including ability to impart technical information from stakeholders when necessary andtranslate into reportingrequirements

·Ability to manage numerous tasks simultaneously and plan time according to priorities and deadlines

·Experience with high volume data analysis with proven experience in change management

·Strong analytical and computational skills with ability to simplify complex reports when communicating outside the immediate team

·Customer-centric with quick reactivity on issues or changing requirements to deliver high-level of service

·Working with Agile mindset in an international, multicultural and complex environment with high willingness to share, teach and advise

·Experience in solution design including the analysis of business requirements and implementation of change

Education, Professional Qualifications and Experience

·Third-level qualification in IT or a technicalrelated discipline is preferred

·Oracle database,Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Reporting suite - with at least 4 years hands on experience

·Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products, in particular Microsoft Excel, required

·Insurance /banking background would be of an advantage
