Opportunity for a Pre-Con Planner Dublin.

The Pre-Construction Planner is responsible for supporting project teams during the pre-construction phase by developing and managing project schedules, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring efficient planning to achieve project goals. This role involves working closely with estimators, project managers, and design teams to optimize construction methodologies and sequencing.

Responsibilities:
  • Create, maintain, and manage pre-construction programmes, ensuring alignment with project requirements and client expectations.
  • Develop and present detailed construction methodologies, logistics plans, and sequencing strategy.
  • Assist with tender planning by providing input into bid submissions, reviewing subcontractor schedules, and identifying project risks.
  • Identify potential project risks, constraints, and opportunities, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with design, estimating, and delivery teams to ensure smooth project transition from pre-construction to construction phase.
  • Assess and plan resource requirements, including labour, materials, and equipment.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to present and explain planning proposals.
  • Advanced construction project management software training - progress analysis & s-curve reporting. Managing costs & resources.
  • Advanced Primavera P6 Training Managing costs & resources.
  • Managing People Training.
  • Advanced contract awareness - Understanding JCT and NEC forms of contract.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Relevant Degree or diploma.
  • Qualifications in construction management.
  • Certification for use of planning and programme software.
  • Membership of relevant professional body, where applicable.
