Overview

We are seeking an ambitious litigation Associate to join our highly regarded products team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a specialist area in a top-tier law firm and to be part of the only standalone products team in Ireland—dealing with multi-jurisdictional, high-value product liability litigation, including matters involving healthcare products such as pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to work in a specialist area within a top-tier firm and to join the only standalone products team in Ireland. You will work with some of the world\'s leading companies, handling high-value product liability litigation with particular expertise in healthcare products.

Candidate requirements
  • Experience in product liability litigation, particularly life sciences product liability defense, will be an advantage.
  • Candidates with demonstrable interest in the above, along with EU and Irish regulatory law experience in fields such as medical/healthcare litigation, medical negligence, competition, financial regulation, or data privacy, will be considered.
  • Interest and passion in progressing and specialising in this space.
Responsibilities
  • Managing complex product liability litigation, including group and multi-party actions in national and global contexts.
  • Advising pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers on related product safety aspects of their portfolios.
  • Advising medical device, pharmaceutical and food & beverage clients on regulatory investigations.
  • Representing clients in regulatory enforcement actions, civil claims and criminal proceedings.
