We are seeking applications from energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team for the position of a Cleaner. The successful candidate will receive training and development aligned with the role. Candidates must be highly motivated, creative, and passionate about engaging with Service Users to contribute to enriching their lives.

Job Objectives

The Cleaner will ensure the centre environment is maintained to high hygienic standards, including:

  • Living our Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Completing daily cleaning responsibilities as per the key task list.
  • Maintaining personal and workplace hygiene according to policies.
  • Attending relevant training courses (e.g., AED, Hygiene, HACCP, Fire Prevention).
  • Cleaning and disinfecting furniture, surfaces, windows, and fixtures.
  • Cleaning behind and under furniture, vacuuming upholstery, and mopping floors.
  • Disinfecting bathrooms, sinks, tiles, and other sanitary fixtures.
  • Removing cobwebs, dusting, and wiping down surfaces including banisters and stairways.

Skills and Experience

Knowledge:

  • Understanding of relevant standards and legislation.

Experience:

  • At least 1 year in a similar role.
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, or Mental Health issues.

Skills:

  • Full Clean Driver's License.
  • Teamwork, willingness to learn, reliability, flexibility.
  • Empathy and understanding of others' needs.
  • Strong desire for personal and professional growth.
