HR and Compliance Manager at Sigma Wireless Communications Limited- A Day Wireless Company

We are recruiting for a Financial Accountant based in Dublin. The role will report directly to the Director of Finance in Dublin supporting the local Hofcon team in Houten, The Netherlands.

Hofcon Technologies was acquired by Day Wireless Systems (US company based in Milwaukie, Oregon) in August 2024. In April 2025, Day Wireless Systems expanded its global reach by acquiring Sigma Wireless Communications Ltd based in Dublin, Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare month end accounts and Balance sheet reporting
  • Responsible for the maintenance of accurate general ledger records
  • Managing Year End Audit Process
  • Production of weekly sales reporting
  • Monthly bank reconciliations
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Cash management including supplier payments and customer receipts
  • Periodic VAT, Payroll, Intra-community transaction filings
  • Assisting in annual budgeting process
  • Recording and analysing company credit cards, vehicle fuel cards and cell phones
  • Ad hoc work as required
Skills
  • Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken with Dutch speaking an advantage.
  • Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA or CIMA or equivalent qualification)
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced business environment
  • Good academic background
  • Knowledge of Netsuite would be an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Work on their own initiative
  • Team player
  • Meet key deadlines in an efficient and competent manner
  • Experience in an international company with international customers would be beneficial
  • Participating in internal control and process improvement
