We are recruiting a BIM Manager to join our building division in Galway. Reporting to your assigned segment's Digital Project Solutions (DPS) Business Partner within a matrix structure, the purpose of this role will be to implement and manage digital tools to enhance project and contract delivery. This role is responsible for service delivery of project information management and tactical deployment of project-based technology.

Your mission

Management Responsibilities

  • Manage pipeline and workload to meet customer needs, liaising with DPS Digital Engineering & Production, and DPS Support to allocate resources effectively.
  • Ensure client and business requirements are met through proper plans, specifications, reviews, and controls.
  • Adhere to relevant industry standards, codes of practice, company procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Maintain high safety, environmental, and quality standards, reporting non-compliance.

Leadership

  • Lead risk, opportunity, change, and commercial impact communication within the project team.
  • Facilitate training and support for information management and the Common Data Environment (CDE).

Information Management

  • Lead delivery of Project and Asset Information Models per EIRs and ISO 19650.
  • Support development of ISO 19650 protocols and related deliverables.
  • Establish systems for managing, sharing, and storing information securely throughout the project lifecycle.

Communication

  • Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.
  • Work with legal teams to incorporate information standards into contracts.
  • Develop and maintain ISO 19650 protocols to meet project goals and stakeholder expectations.
Who are we looking for?

  • Experience in digital construction, facilities management, and document management.
  • Knowledge of the design and construction industry and tendering process.
  • Experience with ISO 19650 series.
  • Higher Education in Construction or related fields.
  • 3-5 years' experience on construction projects or FM contracts with digital solutions.

Knowledge Area

  • Experience with 4D and 5D programmes.
  • Data validation, BEP development, and information flow mapping skills.
  • Interface expertise between digital software and technology.
  • Proficiency in quality documentation and federated 3D models.
