Location: Longford, Ireland
Company: DTE Manufacturing, part of Glennon Brothers Group, a leading timber frame manufacturer and green tech industry leader.
Role Overview: Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Assistant supports timber production by managing CNC cutting files, monitoring stock levels, and assisting with technical documentation. Full training provided.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and optimize CNC machine cutting files for timber.
- Use CAD/CAM software to maximize material yield.
- Review and adjust cutting programs based on specifications.
- Support production scheduling and ensure safety compliance.
- Manage stock levels and update inventory records.
- Ensure quality and compliance with technical drawings and standards.
- Maintain accurate data on material usage and waste.
- Experience in a production environment.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Strong IT skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in timber frame manufacturing or carpentry is a plus but not essential.
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
