Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Munster Region, Ireland

Reports To: Commercial Director

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive sales and expand our presence in the Munster region. The successful candidate will have a strong background in retail sales, a proven ability to build business relationships, and a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute strategies to increase sales within the Munster region.
  2. Identify and establish relationships with new and existing clients.
  3. Drive business growth by identifying new market opportunities and key accounts.
  4. Meet and exceed sales targets set by the Commercial Director.
  5. Provide regular sales reports and market insights to the Commercial Director.
  6. Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to maximize profitability.
  7. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
  8. Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience in retail sales and business development.
  2. Strong understanding of the Munster retail market.
  3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts.
  5. Full clean driving licence - travel across the region is required.
  6. Results-oriented with a track record of meeting sales targets.
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
