We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established leader in HVAC and pipework mechanical installation, seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Engineer to join their dynamic team. If you have a strong background in mechanical installations, particularly HVAC and pipework systems, and are looking for an exciting opportunity to further your career, this role is for you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Liaise with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of the on-site workforce, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards at all times.
  • Perform quality control inspections and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment to the site and manage logistics.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on the installation of HVAC and pipework systems.
  • Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure work is completed as per client requirements.
  • Report on progress, issues, and any delays to the project manager or senior site management team.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer, with a focus on HVAC and pipework mechanical installation.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical installation techniques and systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, particularly in construction and mechanical installation projects.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and liaise with clients.
  • Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent) preferred.
  • Previous experience with commercial and industrial HVAC systems would be a significant advantage.
