Driving Essential

Most competitive rates starting at €15 per hour. Higher rates on Sundays, €10 for half-hour calls plus travel allowance of 41c per km. Additional benefits.

Healthcare Assistant Part-time and Full-time roles available in the Mayo area to assist clients in remaining safely and happily in their own homes. This is a fabulous opportunity to work with a company that highly values its staff.

The successful candidate must:

  • Hold QQI Level 5 in Care Skills and Care of the Elderly
  • Be fully reliable and dependable
  • Have a full clean driver's license and use of your own vehicle
  • Be flexible and have a can-do attitude
  • Have a caring and kind disposition, providing a person-centred approach to clients
  • Possess good communication and practical skills
  • Some experience and training is desirable
  • Be available for weekend and evening work

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Provide high standards of emotional, social, and personal care to clients
  • Adhere to all Comfort Care Ltd policies
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Participate in continuous training and upskilling
  • Implement the client's care plan
  • Provide practical and emotional support to clients professionally

Job Type: Part-time / Full-time

Part-time hours: 18-40 per week

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Weekend availability
  • Flexible hours

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year as HCA (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Certificate in Care Skills or Healthcare Support (desirable)
  • Full Clean Driver's License (required)
