Overview

Euro Group has been retained by one of Ireland's largest Utility Contractors to recruit a Civils Foreman for the North Kerry region. The role is based on a large power project in the region with about 2 years work expected with future works in the area already in the pipeline. This is a permanent position and will suit someone who has previously worked on Energy/ Power/ Substation projects previously.

Responsibilities
  • Managing the day to day activity on site
  • Coordination of site staff and sub-contractors.
  • Making sure completion dates are met
  • Managing engineering staff and groundworks contractors
  • Ensuring standards on site and quality of works
  • Managing labour time sheets, supplier documents and HSQE paperwork
Requirements
  • Experience in similar types of projects.
  • Proven record of seeing projects through from start to finishWorking knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards
  • Working knowledge and track record of managing utilities
  • To be good at working with people at all levels and willing to work in a team.
  • Ability to lead, use initiative and be self-motivated.
  • A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks & project.
